8-4, Ltd is a Japanese company specializing in Japanese-to-English localization. Established October 5, 2005 by Hiroko Minamoto and John Ricciardi, the company also provides voiceover production, event planning and coordination, interpretation, and gameplay design consulting services. In the past, 8-4 also worked as Japan news correspondent for gaming website 1up.

The company also produces the 8-4 Play podcast. Members gather to discuss new games, Japanese culture, current and past localization projects, as well as occasional interviews with Japanese developers. Notable guests have included Akira Yomaoka and Tetsuya Mizuguchi.
