Acornsoft was the software arm of Acorn Computers. The company published software, both games and applications, for Acorn's computers, including the BBC Micro and the Electron.
In 1986, Acorn sold its games back catalogue and the rights to the name Acornsoft to Superior Software
, who continued using the name on their releases and re-released several Acornsoft games as well.
