Mike Mahoney and
Dave Palmer. The company produced games for systems such as the Commodore 64, BBC Micro, Acorn Electron and ZX Spectrum. Alligata is also known for its
Budgie budget label.
Palmer left the company in October 1986 to set up the budget label
Alternative Software with
Roger Hulley. Mike Mahoney left the company in 1988 and turned it over to his brother
Tim Mahoney. The last games were released in 1989.
