BEC Co., Ltd.

Overview

BEC (Bandai Entertainment Company) was established in 1990 as a joint venture between Human Entertainment and Bandai. Most of the initial development staff came from Human, and many staffers were later recruited from Human's game design school, Human Creative School. After Human's bankruptcy in late 1999, BEC became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bandai.

The company was best known for its games based on the popular Mobile Suit Gundam franchise. In April 2011, the studio was merged into Banpresoft to form a new company, B.B.STUDIO.
