BioWare's first in-house developed licensable game engine is called the BioWare Infinity Engine. It has been in used in games such as Planescape: Torment, Icewind Dale, Icewind Dale: Heart of Winter and Icewind Dale II. A second engine, the BioWare Aurora Engine powers Neverwinter Nights 2. Their third engine, the BioWare Odyssey Engine is used in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords.
