The company, originally Interactive Studios, was formed in 1990 by the Oliver Twins (Philip Oliver and Andrew Oliver) and has grown steadily over the last 15 years, in 2007 employing around 200 staff.

A division of Blitz Games Studios, the company focuses on developing family oriented licensed character games.

Blitz have a history of developing for the worlds leading publishers, including THQ, Microsoft, Namco, Konami, Eidos, EA, Sony, Atari and VUG.
