Overview
Boomzap was founded in 2005 by veteran developers
Allan Simonsen and
Christopher Natsuume. It consists of two companies, Boomzap Pte. Ltd. in Singapore and Boomzap Inc. in Seattle Washington.
The studio is virtual, with staff members around the world from from Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Georgia, Russia and the Philippines. To date, Boomzap has steadily grown to a company of 50 people.
Boomzap Pte. Ltd. makes casual games usually with hidden object and puzzle themes. Boomzap's games can be found on all major online portals, such as RealArcade, Big Fish Games, Reflexive, and Wild Tangent. They are available in over a dozen languages, and have also been shipped at retail in North America and Europe.
Since 2005, Boomzap has developed 14 games for 4 platforms (PC, Mac, Wii, iOS) and in 11 languages (English, French, German, Spanish, Dutch, Swedish, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Mandarin, Korean).
