Coktel Vision
Overview
Coktel Vision is a French game developer, founded in 1985 and located in Paris. They created many adventure and action and published many using the
Tomahawk subsidiary only covering Europe. They also developed educational games, most of them starring ADI the alien. Next to their main office, they also established the entity
MDO in Bordeaux, responsible for most of the engineering as the graphics and designs came from the headquarters in Paris.
The company was acquired by
Sierra On-Line, Inc. in 1993 and sold Coktel Vision's games in the United States. When Sierra was acquired by
Havas Interactive in 1999, along with some disappointing titles, Coktel repositioned itself to only develop educational titles.
