Who Are These People?

Gray Matter is a newly formed game development company founded by the former employees of Xatrix Entertainment, Inc. with the help of Activision Studios.

We are located in sunny, Southern California on the westside of Los Angeles, just a few blocks from the beach.

So What Happened To Xatrix Anyway?

There has been much speculation to the events that took place when Xatrix ceased to exist after the completion of Kingpin. there were rumors of reckless abandonment by the publisher, wanton firings, royalty withholdings, and even one story of political conspiracy against our group in an attempt to squelch our unique ability to graphically illustrate the human condition during an administration set out to end violence in the media. and although each account of our demise is equally creative, unfortunately none are true.

The company formerly known as Xatrix Entertainment did indeed cease to exist on the day that Kingpin shipped. Xatrix had been in business for five years and had a successful run. after having shipped its seventh game, it was decided by the founders that it was simply time for a change. A few moved on but the majority stayed.

Yeah, So What About Now?

Today we're in the different building, a few blocks from our old address. We have just completed our most exciting product ever with the help of our friends at Id Software and industry giant Activision.
