Guerrilla Games

Overview

Guerrilla is a young but rapidly expanding game development studio, with a growing reputation as one of Europe's leading game developers.

Founded at the beginning of 2000 as the result of a merger between 3 smaller Dutch game developers, the studio is based in the heart of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Guerrilla develops games for the PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC. Employing over 85 people, the company is committed to recruiting, developing and retaining the best talent that the industry has to offer.

Guerrilla's outstanding technology and strong creative and artistic vision has quickly made the company one of Europe's leading independent game developers. The studio has attracted the attention of world-class publishers and is working closely with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) and Eidos to create two of the most anticipated titles for 2004, namely Killzone and ShellShock: Nam '67. Having recently signed an exclusivity deal with SCEE, Guerrilla will be developing further titles for the PlayStation 2 and other Sony platforms.

Originally known as Lost Boys games, the company was re-launched as Guerrilla in July 2003 when it became part of the Media Republic group.
