Overview
Iron Lore Entertainment was a game development company founded in October 2000 by veteran game developer
Brian Sullivan and entrepreneur
Paul Chieffo. It was headquartered in Maynard, Massachusetts. On 19th February 2008 the company announced to close down because they could not secure investment for future projects.
In its history, the company released three games,
Titan Quest, an original franchise, followed by the expansion
Titan Quest: Immortal Throne. They also developed the
Soulstorm expansion for
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War. At the 2007 Game Developers Choice Awards the company was chosen "best new studio" for their work on
Titan Quest.
