Overview

KING Art is independent game developer in Germany.

Since 2002 they have been pioneers in the area of extensive browser games, and have accumulated expert knowledge during the production of more than 30 successfully completed browser game projects.

In 2008 they developed own adventure game engine, which was used for the production of “The Book of Unwritten Tales” and “The Critter Chronicles”. "The Critter Chronicles" is the prequel to “The Book of Unwritten Tales” and the international release is scheduled for Q2 2012.

“The Book of Unwritten Tales” received rave reviews and became the best-selling adventure game. There were 2,5 year gap between German and English release (April 2, 2009 vs. October 28, 2011). They also did concept work, puzzle design and almost all dialogues for dtp’s “Black Mirror 2”.

They've also developed "Murphy’s Law" series. The first nine episodes of the series were released as Flash games. The 10th episode, marking the series’ 10th anniversary, is a remake of the very first episode and the first one produced in 3D.
