Ludia, Inc.

Ludia Inc. was founded by industry veterans in early 2007 and operates in Montreal (Quebec), Canada. The company worked closely with FremantleMedia Enterprises to develop video games based on hit TV shows such as The Price is Right, Family Feud and American Idol.

In late 2009, Ludia acquired part of Mistic Software Inc. and grew to around 100 employees. With the years, the company continued to develop games based on TV shows and added titles such as The Hollywood Squares, The $1,000,000 Pyramid, as well as more entries in the Family Feud series and The Price is Right series to its portfolio. Ludia also makes the very popular Where's Waldo series for iPhone and iPad and has released one original IP called Planet Fish.

Ludia's long relationship with FremantleMedia led to its acquisition in Fall 2010. "A FremantleMedia Company" now appears on Ludia's new logo.

In the past, Ludia has developed games for Facebook, Nintendo DS, Wii, Xbox 360, iPhone, iPad, PC and PlayStation Network. However, in 2011, the company announced that it would focus solely on digital distribution in the future, making Facebook, smartphones and tablets their main markets.
