Jul 27, 2005:

• The company acquires the rights to the VASSAL Engine from Vassal Engineering, software that lets you create your own, individually branded, commercial standalone application that moderates any turn-based game for human-vs-human play. Matrix Games will provide the online presence and distribution channel.

Oct 06, 2005:

• Matrix Games secures rights to publish the Talonsoft line of wargames. The agreement includes the rights to publish, update and modify well known games such as the full Battleground series of games, the Campaign series, the Operational Art of War series, the Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich games as well as the Age of Sail.
