OverviewMegaTech was founded in early 1990's in California, USA, by Kenny Wu. The company specialized in localizing Japanese computer games (mostly with adult content), often introducing major changes in gameplay, which essentially resulted in a different game: such was the case with their first product, Cobra Mission (1992), a heavily re-imagined version of an earlier Japanese release. Most of their games sported adult stickers and content in an era when the industry in the West wasn't too keen on adult software entertainment. The last game they published was Power Dolls (1995). The company folded in an unspecified year during the late 1990's.
MegaTech re-surfaced about ten years later as Megatech & Design, owning the rights to Cobra Mission and releasing a puzzle games featuring its characters for mobile platforms.
