Overview

Merscom LLC is a publisher of PC and console games. Founded in 1999 by video game veterans with over a decade of experience working with the industry’s leading developers and publishers, Merscom is located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina (USA).

One of the co-founders was Lloyd Melnick (previously co-founder of Octagon Entertainment). In 2007 Melnick is still active in the company as its Chief Customer Officer. R. Kirk Owen (formerly President of Octagon Entertainment) is the company CEO in 2007.

On April 26, 2010, it was announced that Merscom had been purchased by Playcom Inc.
