Obsidian Entertainment, Inc.

Overview

Located in Santa Ana in the heart of Orange County, California in the United States, Obsidian Entertainment was founded in 2003 by game development veterans Feargus Urquhart, Chris Parker, Darren Monahan, Chris Avellone and Chris Jones. When Interplay closed its Black Isle Studios development division in December 2003, many of the employees moved on to Obsidian.

Purely RPG-minded, the company is responsible for the second KOTOR game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II - The Sith Lords and Neverwinter Nights 2.
