Penguin Development Team

Overview

Penguin Development Team (or Penguin DT for short) is a Finland-based duo of hobbyist game developers; Lead design, art and programming is job of Jouni Lahtinen, while Petja Heiskanen is responsible for the killer soundtracks, additional design and extra testing.

Duo's debut game TAGAP: The Apocalyptic Game About Penguins started as a one-man project of Mr. Lahtinen in December 2003, but Mr. Heiskanen joined the project soon after. TAGAP had been under development for several months, until in summer 2004 the name “Penguin Development Team” was adapted.

TAGAP: The Apocalyptic Game About Penguins was released as freeware in July 31st 2007 and it has turned out to be a small hit. Currently Penguin DT is working on TAGAP support and a full-length sequel, coming in 3D Realms fashion "when it's done".
