OverviewQuest was established in 1988, and produced software for home console, personal computer, and handheld systems. They're best known for being the company behind the Ogre Battle series. Though in the mid-1990s several high-profile members including Ogre series head Yasumi Matsuno left to join Square Co., Ltd., Quest continued to develop the series and other games.
In 2002 Quest sold its development resources and rights to the Ogre Battle franchise to Square, and effectively ceased being a video game company.
