Overview

In 1989, RTL was the first television broadcasting company in Germany to recognize the business potential of in-house merchandising and licensing.

RTL Enterprises GmbH was created in January of 2000 in order to better serve the demands of RTL’s partners and the market. This subsidiary is an independent, full-service agency responsible for licensing, merchandising and media cooperation. The company also publishes games through the label RTL Playtainment and Black Inc..
