Overview
Supervillain Studios was established in January 2004 and is a developer for PC, PlayStation 2, Xbox, Gamecube, PSP and next-gen consoles. It was co-founded by
Chris Rausch,
Steve Ganem, and
Tim Campbell, the team at SVS is composed of a group of veteran game developers who hail from such companies as
Blizzard Entertainment,
Neversoft Entertainment,
Westwood Studios,
EA,
Interplay,
Troika, and
Point of View.
Collectively, the core group of developers at Supervillain Studios has contributed to a wide-range of massively popular games on both PC and console platforms.
The company worked on the Xbox version of
GUN (2005) and ported it to the platform. They also assisted
Raven Corporation in
X-Men: Legends II - Rise of Apocalypse (2005).
The first game they developed independently was
Dungeon Siege: Throne of Agony (2006) for the PSP. Most recently, the SuperVillain team developed the original title
Order Up! (2008) for the Wii.
