Overview

Swingin' Ape Studios is a cutting-edge video game development company located in Aliso Viejo, in Southern California. Founded by three game industry veterans, the studio is dedicated to producing exciting, innovative games and game tech-nology that will raise the bar for the industry. Our philosophy is to hire some of the most talented developers the game industry has to offer, provide a healthy environment in which their creativity can flourish and, together, produce kick-ass games.

A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE APES

In July of 2000, Steve Ranck, Mike Starich and Scott Goffman left Midway Home Entertainment to form their own game development studio. They had successfully completed Hydro Thunder for the arcade, and were ready for a new challenge.

They wanted to create a game studio that would provide a creative, open, friendly work environment, attracting the best talent in the industry.
