Overview

TimeGate Studios fosters a unique environment in which its game developers can grow in knowledge, skill, scope of responsibility, and range of activities. Powered by an experienced management team, with expertise in a wide array of industries, TimeGate provides a structure that ensures success in current and future projects.

TimeGate's debut project was the award-winning Kohan: Immortal Sovereigns, a fantasy real-time strategy game that has captured the attention of strategy lovers worldwide. Immortal Sovereigns was released in March of 2001 for both Windows and Linux, a milestone in the real-time strategy (RTS) genre. Immortal Sovereigns is now available at major retailers in North America, Europe, Asia, and South America.

TimeGate Studios, Inc. is part of a corporation comprised of a number of different companies that operate in many diverse fields, such as Medical, Oil & Gas, and Real Estate. Along with being successful businessmen, the five founders are also avid gamers and shared a dream of creating their own game development studio. In May of 1998, they attended the Computer Game Developers Conference (CGDC) and saw the birth of their brainchild. They took advantage of the resource pool, assembled a team of experienced developers, and production commenced in August of the same year.
