• Company founded by brothers Hervé Caen and Eric Caen in Paris.

Oct, 1996:

• Titus Interactive was listed on the French stock exchange, OTC section.

1998:

• Titus acquires BlueSky Software
• The company acquires developer Digital Integration Ltd..

Oct, 1999:

• Following the majority investment in US games publisher Interplay, who in February 1999 acquired 43.9% of Virgin Interactive Entertainment, Titus agreed to acquire an additional 50.1% of the publisher and distributor Virgin Interactive Entertainment.

Mar 14, 2000:

• The Titus group signs a distribution agreement with Cryo Interactive for the North American market.

Apr 13, 2000:

• Eurosport.com & Titus Interactive form partnership.

Nov 22, 2000:

• TF1 and Titus Interactive form partnership.

2001:

• Titus Interactive opens a new studio in Cannes. This studio specializes in developing original creations for Microsoft Xbox and Nintendo Gamecube, which are non-violent, mass market games.

Feb 21, 2001:

• Orange and Titus Interactive join forces to develop new entertainment services for the UMTS network.

May 18, 2001:

• Titus Interactive gains North America distribution rights to Microïds' products.

Jul 27, 2001:

• Titus Interactive holds over 50% of Interplay Entertainment Corp. voting rights. On September 18th, a new board of directors is appointed.

Mar 18, 2002:

• Titus Interactive raises to 72,4% its stake in Interplay Entertainment Corp.

May 02, 2002:

• Titus Interactive announces the sale of Shiny Entertainment, a studio of Interplay, to Infogrames, for 47 Million Dollars. This studio holds the “Matrix” franchise.

May 22, 2002:

• Distribution agreement between Titus Interactive and KONAMI.

Jun 11, 2002:

• Titus Interactive accepts the MBO (management buyout) of Virgin Interactive Entertainment’s Spanish subsidiary. An exclusive distribution agreement is concluded, which includes all titles of the group, on all platforms.

Jun 09, 2004:

• Titus, which is a majority shareholder in Interplay, files for bankruptcy.

Jan 05, 2005:

• The legal liquidation of the company and all its affiliates (Sofra Games SARL, GIE Titus Interactive and Avalon France) is pronounced.
