OverviewTopia (토피아) was a South Korean computer game developing company. It was founded in July 1983 and led by the company president Sim Jaehyeon and head of game development section Doo Jin. The company started as a chain of computer shops, but soon switched to game development. They only produced games during the 8-bit era (most notably for the MSX computer), and distinguished themselves from most other Korean developers of the time by complying with the copyright law and developing only fully original games. In the 1990's they published a computer-related magazine, and became defunct around 1996.
