Started in August 2000, Unimatrix Productions began as a group of internet buddies intent on creating computer-animated flash movies. Today, Unimatrix Productions is an up-and-coming independent adventure game developer and publisher, consisting of talented individuals who have had previous experience in the independent computer game industry.

The company is currently working on its third game, the adventure title Stonewall Penitentiary.
