OverviewWizarbox was a French video game development studio founded in 2003 by four ex-Visiware employees. It was based in the small town of Sèvres, in the Île-de-France region. The company's first project was the Xbox port of Arx Fatalis. It continued to do console ports in the following years, including the PS2 version of First Battalion and the Xbox 360 versions of Risen and Venetica. At the same time it enjoyed a lasting relationship with publisher Ubisoft, for which it did several contractual works.
Their first independent project was the point-and-click adventure game So Blonde, which spawned two sequels in the following years. In December 2012 the studio filed for bankruptcy, and was subsequently acquired by Interaction Games at the beginning of 2013.
