Bob along with his brother Dave created Staff Of Karnath for Ultimate (Dave did the coding, while Bob drew the graphics). The game was released in December 1984 to immediate acclaim, the game’s star, Sir Arthur Pendragon, went on to appear in a further three C64 adventures – Entombed, Blackwyche and Dragonskulle. The brothers also authored Outlaws for Ultimate for Christmas 1985 . After leaving Ultimate they moved to Elite to code the widely appraised C64 version of Buggy Boy.
