Biography edit · view history

Dave Mednick got his first personal computer (a Commodore VIC-20) in 1976 and immediately began writing his own programs. After upgrading to a C-64, Apple IIe, Amiga and finally IBM compatible PCs, he started developing full access bulletin board systems (BBS) and tying them through the Internet via Fidonet feeds. The humble foundation of Mednick Online Networks was formed! After years of programming and experimenting Dave grew quite fond of role playing and real-time strategy games. This new found love of gaming and his fondness of the Internet merged in the form of the first Mednick Online Networks gaming fansite, Dungeon Siege Planet. It has since grown into a wonderful relationship with many of the most successful web developers including Gas Powered Games, Relic Entertainment, THQ and Big Huge Games. Dave "DevlshOne" Mednick is also credited with creating the most popular fansite for the Relic/THQ game "Impossible Creatures". Impossible Creatures Planet was responsible for all the beta testing on its expansion "Insect Invasion".

Dave is the proud father of three children and currently resides in Birmingham, Alabama.
