Biography edit · view history
David Bowie was born David Robert Jones on 8 January 1947 in Brixton, London, England. In late 1966, he changed his surname owing to the imminent emergence of Davy Jones of The Monkees.
Bowie was not only a rock and roll music star but he also had an interest in the gaming industry. He took an active part in the game Omikron: The Nomad Soul in which he played one of the characters. Additionally he wrote the entire soundtrack for that game in collaboration with Reeves Gabrels and included seven of those songs in one of his albums. His music has been used in other games and credited for the inspiration in creating them.
Bowie died of liver cancer in January 2016.
