Trevor Williams headed up Codemasters Birmingham until October 2009. Almost a year before, he joined the company when Codemasters acquired the development outfit Swordfish Studios, which he had been president of since 2005, and managing director since 2002.

Before that he was the studio director at Rage Birmingham after joining the company in 1994. He broke into the industry as a development manager at Elite Systems, which he joined in 1989.
