Rafael Chandler has worked as a game writer for Zipper Interactive, Slant Six Games, Ubisoft, Electronic Arts, 1C Company, NHN Corporation, XLOC, and SouthPeak Games. He's written storylines, dialogue, cinematics, design documentation, and/or marketing copy for over 30 titles, including SOCOM: Confrontation, Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter, Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia, Star Wolves 2, You Are Empty, GunBound: Revolution, Ghost Recon 2: Summit Strike, Rainbow Six: Lockdown, and Ghost Recon 2.

Chandler is the author of the Game Writing Handbook, and also writes Screen/Play, a column at Gamasutra.com. He has been a speaker at the Game Writers Conference and the Digital Game Xpo, and he taught the six-hour master class at the 2007 Russian Game Developers Conference in Moscow. Chandler wrote the script for Monster Madness: Battle For Suburbia, a comic book published by Dark Horse Comics in April 2007. A published horror writer, his work has appeared in Lullaby Hearse, Night To Dawn, Nanobison, and Blackwater Review, and he is also the writer/designer of Dread: The First Book of Pandemonium, a role-playing game of modern horror-action.
