Simon ButlerDeveloper BIOSimon Butler has been in the industry since 1983 when he worked on his first title, Pedro's Garden for the "legendary" and ill-fated Imagine Software.
Now, in 2009 he has worked on over 250 titles.
He has worked for Ocean, Team 17, Vicarious Visions, Probe, Magnetic Fields, Atari and many others.
He freelanced out of his home town of Liverpool, where since 2000 he had been concentrating on the handheld and mobile markets, producing graphics for the GBC, GBA and mobile phone titles.
He worked in-house in Hamburg, Germany for Elkware until internal development stopped with their takeover by Infospace.
In 2006 he worked briefly in Strasbourg France for The Mighty Troglodytes.
2007 saw him working as Lead Game Designer at dtp Entertainment in Hamburg on a kid's MMO, but funding difficulties forced the closure of the team.
Having recently designed a movie tie-in for Wii, Ds and PC and working for the world's largest browser game developer he is currently freelancing back in the UK.
