Jean-Sylvain Sormany

Jean-Sylvain Sormany as worked for several game development companies starting in 2003 at Artificial Mind & Movement as a game programmer on console games. He quickly became Lead AI Programmer on a ScoobyDoo licensed game (Unmasked).

In 2005, Jean-Sylvain start working as a game engine programmer at Ubisoft on a 360 launch title: Peter Jackson King Kong, the official game of the movie. He transferred as a QA/Tool lead programmer on several FarCry sequel for console platform (XBox and Xbox 360).

In 2007, he was hired by a small company in Ottawa and became the lead programmer of a series of project done by this startup company.

In 2007, Jean-Sylvain took the chair of the Ottawa IGDA chapter.

In 2008, he started teaching Game Engine Development at Carleton University of Ottawa.
