Developer BIO

Born in small town in Ohio, not much to do - play a lot of video games. Grow up, go to high-school, get driver's license. Can now drive to store to buy more video-games - good. Finish high-school. Graduate. Not ready to grow up, don't want to join the service. Hey - what about college?!

Hrm. College. Secondary-ed major, concentrating in chemistry. Wait - teachers don't make much money. Switch to chemistry. Ugh - chemistry at the college level is HARD. Switch to undecided. What? Undecided majors get lowest priority in choosing classes? Lemme see the major list... aerospace... applied mathematics... architecture... Architecture? You guys have a degree in architecture? Yeah - sign me up for that. Spend next five years playing video games and drinking beer... I mean working on my degree.

Graduate. Practice architecture for a number of years, play video games at night. Start to create custom levels for Quake and Quake 2. Company gets sold, relocates far away - don't want to move. Local electrical contractor is looking for a manager with design experience. Ok, I'll do that - don't have to move then. Contracting is _not fun_. Get bored. Start playing video games and making maps _at work_. Decide that perhaps I should be doing this full time.

Get job working for the government on the America's Army project. MUCH better - should have been doing this all along. Ship title, decide - stupidly - that Monterey isn't the place to be any longer. Work for 2 1/2 years, get laid off, drift for several months. Catch lifeline from Levelord (“Want to come interview?" “HELL YES!"). Land at Ritual, be inducted into Tribe in bizarre (and somewhat painful) Ritual.

Spend a couple years at Ritual, ship Sin Episodes: Emergence. Decide that a change of scenery is in order, replace rush hour commute down freeway with much easier drive down Northwest Highway to 3D Realms.
