Rudy Pollorena Jr.

Developer Biography

Rudy Pollorena Jr. first started modding in 1997 on TFC Maps and the Unreal Engine. In the spring of 2000, Rudy was contacted by David Perry to assist with Enter The Matrix as a contracted game designer.

Rudy began as an Entry Level Designer in 2000 and earned the title Lead Gameplay Designer in 2010 through his career in console games.

From 2000 - 2010, he worked on the following games:

Enter The Matrix Postal 2 (2) unreleased titles Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure Da Vinci Code Medal of Honor: Vanguard Silent Hill 5: Homecoming Duke Nukem Forever Spongebob Square Pants: Globs of Doom Lichdom (unreleased)

In the summer of 2010, Rudy decided to focus on his own ventures and went the indie route. He focused on mobile games with his colleague as well as added new skills to his arsenal: UI/UX Design & 2D Illustration.

Rudy has shipped 3 titles on mobile: FlickEm for iPhone FlickEm for iPad (HD Version) In The Club (an HTML5 title from his startup, Upgraded Studios - Upgraded was funded by MocoSpace to build the game for a social network then exited by selling the IP to MocoSpace)

Rudy now focuses on his design studio, "8-Bit Chicken", collaborating on any projects including console, mobile (iOS & Android) & web. He provides UI/UX Design, Game Design & 2D Illustration.
