Jon GrandeDeveloper BIOJon Grande is an Executive Vice President and the General Manager of Online Services with Exponential Entertainment.
Prior to joining Exponential Entertainment, he was a co-founder of Blade Games, a venture backed development tools and integrated services company.
Previously he managed strategic planning, finance, legal affairs, and corporate partnerships for Sigil Games Online. Jon joined Sigil in mid-2005 following 17 years at Microsoft, spending more than a decade in the Microsoft Game Studios. Jon was a part of MGS as it grew from less than 100 people to well over 1000, and helped drive that growth by starting and helping to run several studios, including the MSN Gaming Zone - Microsoft's first foray into on-line games. Jon was also instrumental in establishing and managing relationships with some of Microsoft's strongest external development partners, including BioWare and Gas Powered Games.
Jon has helped manage production of over 20 games for PC and Xbox including the Jade Empire and the Dungeon Siege franchises.
Jon has several genre "Game of the Year" awards to his credit, including: Close Combat - War Game of the Year (PC Gamer); MSN Gaming Zone - Best Online Games Site (CNet); Jade Empire - RPG of the Year (Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences).
