Takanari Suzuki (鈴木孝成, born Jan. 28, 1953), also known by the pen name Game Kyōjin (芸夢狂人) is a programmer and doctor of medicine from Nagano, Japan. In the early 1980s, while studying radiology, he wrote a number of unofficial conversions of popular arcade games in BASIC to various 8-bit computers, which were published in the Japanese computer magazine I/O. He joined Enix in 1983 as a lead programmer, where he worked on a number of titles. In particular, his PC-88 conversion of Xevious was done in his spare time, but Enix wound up releasing it as a commercial project after he brought it in to work.

After the release of Jesus II in 1991, Suzuki left Enix to study medicine overseas, and has been working as a general practitioner of medicine in Tokyo since 1995.
