Rob Ellis II has served as Lead Level Designer, Game Designer, Level Builder, and World Builder on MMORPGs. Rob was one of the original members of the Meridian 59 team. He worked on the initial release of Meridian 59, as well as the game’s first four major expansions. More recently Rob was a member of the Ultima Online: Third Dawn expansion team. He co-founded Near Death Studios, Inc. in 2001 with Brian Green. They acquired the rights to Meridian 59 from The 3DO Company on 29th November 2001 and relaunched the MMORPG in 2002 as Meridian 59: Resurrection.
