Hélène Giraud

Hélène Giraud worked as a concept artist for the Luc Besson movie The Fifth Element. She was subsequently hired by Kalisto as a creative consultant for the corresponding video game. Giraud continued to work for Kalisto on other games projects, then moved on to Xilam as a supervising art director for the backgrounds of the adventure game Stupid Invaders. A sequel, which Giraud contributed concept art for, was in production but never released.

Giraud was born in Paris in 1970. She graduated from ESAT – Ecole du Spectacle des Arts et des Techniques. She’s one of the heads behind the animated short Minuscule that rose to YouTube fame in 2006.
