Born in Las Vegas as Jane Esther Hamilton on Oct. 27 1956, she graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, with a major in theater. She worked as a model before going into the adult movie scene. She became one of the most respected porn stars of the 70s and 80s who went on to minor roles more mainstream movies. She retired from performing (sexually) in adult movies in the mid 80s and appeared in various B-rated movies in the late 80s. During her acting career in adult films she won several Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress awards. As the Producer of 11 films, she elected to use her real name, Jane Hamilton.
