Developer BIO

Charlie attended Case Western Reserve University and received a B.S. in Computer Engineering. He worked as a software engineer at IBM, Papyrus, CogniToy and Stainless Steel Studios, on Grand Prix Legends, MindRover and Empire Earth. In May of 2001, he left Stainless Steel to found the Natural Selection team, for which he did all the programming and design. He hired a distributed team of ten and worked as project lead. He is active in the game development community, attending the Game Developer's Conference since 1997, participating in his local IGDA since 1999. Charlie has contributed writings to Game Developer Magazine and Game Design Perspectives.
