Jonathan Sgro


Developer BIO

Jon began working in the games industry at LucasArts in 2000, where he lead the development of Maya technology for the studio and focused on productive art pipelines. He held the position of Technical Director on Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds and RTX: Red Rock, and also assisted on Star Wars: Bounty Hunter, Gladius, Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction, and Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith.

He was one of the many LucasArts members to move on to the adventure game development studio Telltale, Inc. around 2004-2005. Sgro initially provided technical art, character modelling and choreography for various titles, and later became Director of Production Technologies at the studio.

Other experience includes a stint at Industrial Light and Magic as well as various Internet multimedia ventures. Jon holds a BFA from the Academy of Art University and has several years of programming experience.
