Leonel Zuniga has been a game designer for Vicarious Visions Inc for a number of years, originally beginning in Quality Assurance. Zuniga has been bringing Tony Hawk to the masses since 1999: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4, Tony Hawk's Underground, Tony Hawk's Underground 2 and Tony Hawk's American SK8Land (DS). Because VV mostly handles ports of games, (especially to portable consoles) Zuniga has been largely credited for the innovations added to the Tony Hawk games later, such as custom voice functionality for when a player "wipes out" in American SK8Land DS.
