Heather Chandler

Developer Biography

Heather Maxwell Chandler is a multimedia producer with many years of experience in the entertainment software industry. Her company, Media Sunshine, Inc., provides consulting services for game developers and vendors.

Prior to the creation of MSI, she held various production roles at Ubisoft, Electronic Arts, Activision, and New Line Cinema. She has worked on over thirty games, including Ghost Recon 2, Heavy Gear, Apocalypse, Vigilante 8, Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield, Dark Reign, Shanghai: Second Dynasty, and Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter for the Xbox 360.

Heather is the author of The Game Localization Handbook, The Game Production Handbook, and three chapters in Secrets of the Game Business, Second Edition. In addition, she has lectured at at the Game Developers Conference, the Digital Game Expo, and North Carolina State University. Heather graduated with honors from Vanderbilt University and received an M.A from the USC School of Cinema-Television.
