During his education he interned at Klasky Csupo (Rugrats) as a Background Artist and Prop Designer for three months before graduating Art Center College of Design in the Spring of 2001. He then worked for six months freelancing for ad agencies and storyboarding for such commercials to include Hallmark and Got Milk.
In December of 2002 Matt was hired at Stormfront Studios as their Concept Artist for the video game (Lord of the Rings Two Towers, Forgotten Realms Demonstone) on there last title Eragon Matt served as Senior Concept Artist on the project, establishing the visual look and feel for the game.
Matt is currently employed at Lucasfilm Animation working as a Concept Artist in their Art Department. During his off hours continues to work on personal projects, to include a CG Short Film that he’s writing and illustrating, and two Children’s Books.
The year 2005 was a very exciting year for Matt as he was selected for the Master Award in “Expose 3” and the Silver Award in “Spectrum 12”. He's recently been awarded the CG Choice Award for 2006 and is currently developing his own toyline.
