Eric Gingrich was born in a small town in central Florida. Just as soon as they were invented, he played a lot of video games. He received a college scholarship in painting, but somehow graduated from art school with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Video. He worked in TV for a few years doing graphics as well as directing newscasts. Eventually a game developer rescued him from his job at the CBS affiliate in Anchorage Alaska. He moved to Seattle and proceeded to work on a whole mess of video games.
