Developer Biography

Ike joined Big Huge Games in 2001 after obtaining a Computer Engineering degree from the University of Kansas and interning at Intel.

Ike began as a programmer working on the Scenario Editor, map generation, and the Conquer the World single-player game for Rise of Nations. However, he quickly demonstrated a strong aptitude for design, and so he moved into a designer-programmer role under Brian Reynolds' tutelage. In this capacity, Ike oversaw the design on the Thrones & Patriots expansion pack for Rise of Nations, which garnered high review scores and a great attach rate.

Ike next led the outer map campaign design for Rise of Legends and finished that game as lead single-player designer. On Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties, Ike acted as Project Lead and Lead Designer.

He is now working as Executive Producer on a still-secret RPG.
