John FitzGeraldDeveloper BIO
John graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 2000 with an associates degree in computer animation and multimedia. John was hired early on in the development of
Rise of Nations. Spending much of his time here working on animation intensive units. Such as siege equipment along with their crews, and machine gunners with very courageous ammoguy. John has more then proven to be a great addition to the unit team here at BHG, and has worked hard for a unified style amongst the units in the game.
John has been given the opportunity to grow as an artist here at Big Huge Games and his work has encompassed a wide variety of responsibilities not only in the unit dept., but also in the creation of marketing materials such as the rise of nation trailer, unit renders, and screenshots.
John is an avid movie buff with a DVD collection that's hard to beat. This man can quote any Schwarzenegger line. What is good in life?... 'eh? He has achieved a legendary status here in the office when it comes to first person shooter games. Rivaled only by a few, his frags could not be easily counted. When you see the Sanchez brothers coming, it's time to get the hell out of dodge. And if you are on John's team, don't turn your back on him. You might find yourself dead.
