Jonathan Jacobson

Developer BIO

Jonathan Jacobson comes to Big Huge Games after a circuitous romp through several institutes of higher learning and many adventures while walking the earth.

One adventure lead him to a job as a computer tech at the University of Pittsburgh where, on his graveyard shifts, he taught himself the way and the doings of 3d modeling, texturing and animation.

Eager to test his skills in the competitive world of game development, he began looking for work. He didn’t have to look long, as he was picked up quickly by Dreamforge Entertainment as a 3d artist. During his two years with Dreamforge he operated in many capacities from special effects to lead terrain artist. It was these two years of experience that made Jonathan a perfect candidate for Big Huge Games’ art department.

When not occupied in an artistic fashion, Jonathan can be found hurting himself on a skate or snowboard, running, or getting his butt kicked in Counter-Strike.
